Sentinel Forensic Engine
The Forensic Attestation Engine for Regulated Autonomy
Sentinel Forensic Engine delivers the regulator-ready forensic attestation pipeline required for modern autonomous systems. It extracts encrypted .trace ledgers directly from onboard hardware, preserves full chain-of-custody, and replays mission data inside a restricted AWS GovCloud boundary.
Every attestation is cryptographically signed, watermark-verified, and hardware-bound — producing a compliance artifact trusted by OEMs, primes, and commercial operators who need secure, limited-access mishap causation reports. Systems that complete Sentinel's forensic attestation process qualify for the MetaTX Onboard certification badge.
Evidence integrity is preserved even when operational capability is not.
How Sentinel Forensic Engine Works
A strict, regulator-aligned workflow from mishap site to certified attestation artifact.
Trace Extraction
Sentinel Forensic Engine connects to the flight hardware's storage controller and extracts raw encrypted .trace ledger blocks without altering mission data.
GovCloud Transfer
Encrypted .trace blocks move through a secure transport layer into the MissionPrivate AWS GovCloud (US) boundary.
Deterministic Replay
Sentinel's Rust-based replay engine deterministically reconstructs the mission timeline, classifying disturbance profiles.
Disturbance Reconstruction
The replay engine identifies vibration, envelope violations, OOB memory events, and timing irregularities — distinguishing real physics from spoofing.
Evidence Attestation
Hash continuity, timestamp monotonicity, FPGA anchor consistency, and envelope rules are validated.
Certificate Generation
A MetaTX TRACE Certificate is produced: cryptographically signed, AWS watermark-verified, hardware-bound.
See It In Action
The Sentinel Forensic Engine at work — hash-chained evidence recording, deterministic replay, and cryptographically anchored trace events.
Replay → Explain → Fix
Every sensor event is sealed into a Sentinel Hash Chain (E1001 to E1007). Each node carries a cryptographic hash linking back to its predecessor — tamper-evident by design.
Sensor Ingest, Fusion, Decision, and Event Position layers are replayed in precise sequence. The replay engine reconstructs the exact mission timeline.
Event E1006 marks a governance state transition — the moment the system crossed a regulatory boundary. Timestamp, hash, and provenance are all captured.

Sentinel Forensic Engine & Regulatory Compliance
Built for Emerging Autonomy Regulation
Sentinel Forensic Engine is a licensed Forensic Attestation Engine designed to satisfy the next generation of regulatory requirements for autonomous systems, unmanned aircraft, and safety-critical robotics.
Compliance Themes Sentinel Satisfies
Pending Regulatory Requirements
Sentinel is designed to meet pending regulatory requirements for autonomous systems. As regulators move toward mandatory trace attestation, Sentinel provides the licensed Forensic Attestation Engine required for compliance.
Evidence Integrity
Hash pipeline validation, timestamp monotonicity, tamper-evident continuity
Chain-of-Custody
Hardware-anchored hashes, immutable ledger boundaries, zero modification
Telemetry Separation
Distinguishes telemetry blackout from evidence loss for regulators
Mishap Reconstruction
Disturbance window, causal correlation, amplitude profile — all in the TRACE Certificate
Regulatory Watch
Sentinel is already built. When the mandates land, it will be indexed, certified, and ready.
Autonomous systems are entering a compliance era where proof of behavior matters more than raw telemetry.
In contested, degraded, and denied environments, operational awareness may diminish and communications may be lost. Sentinel preserves an immutable chain of mission evidence.
The autonomy stack provides an opinion. Sentinel provides evidence.
Sentinel is the infrastructure regulators will require — before they require it.
Technical Architecture
Defense-grade. Rust-built. AWS-anchored.
Sentinel Forensic Engine Beta Program
Q4 2026 — Controlled Staged Deployment
The Sentinel Beta Program is a controlled Q4 release. It provides early access to a restricted evaluation instance while preserving strict evidence-handling boundaries.
Forensic Trace for Your Existing Platform or Fleet
Sentinel attaches as an independent forensic witness. Your OEM hardware, flight controller, and autonomy stack are untouched — Sentinel observes, records, and certifies without interfering.
If your platform is already flying, already deployed, or already in the field — Sentinel can be there by next program increment. No rewrite. No OEM coordination. No bricking risk. Sentinel deploys as an independent safety co-processor, sniffs existing sensor buses, and begins producing immutable forensic evidence from day one.
Sentinel Observes. Your System Flies.
Sentinel FPGA operates as a deterministic witness — reading sensor buses, intercepting raw data streams, and capturing state transitions without writing back to any OEM system. The mission computer never knows Sentinel is there. The regulator always will.
Plug In. Start Recording.
Deploy Sentinel onto an independent PolarFire SoC or FPGA slot on your existing MPSoC. Sentinel begins hash-chaining evidence, enforcing envelope rules, and timestamping events immediately — no firmware rewrite, no software modification, no OEM approval required to begin.
Ready for Primes, Airworthiness Boards, and MIL-Cert Assessors
Token-gated update authorization. GovCloud-origin delivery. ITAR-compliance path. Sentinel's deployment architecture is exactly what airworthiness boards and MIL-cert assessors expect to see — a tamper-evident, independently governed, cryptographically verified forensic layer.
What Sentinel Never Touches
What Sentinel Adds Immediately
Already in the Field? Sentinel Catches Up.
The Q4 Beta Program includes FAE-supported onboarding for existing platform integration. One engineer. One program increment. Forensic attestation live.
